Strips 'n Curves, stage 2

Only the first 18 of 110 squares but I like what's happening.
We are watching the grandsons this week so no quilting will be done. There is a reason children are born to the young but they are a blessing and fun.

Janet, I just went back and read your previous post and I love what you are working on. I don't know if you remember but last year, I took a class from Louisa Smith. It was wonderful! Here is the link to my post about it: http://cvquiltworks.blogspot.com/2009/02/outside-my-box.html
I also have a slide show of all the quilts that the students and Louisa had at the class. Here is the link for that: http://gallery.me.com/jackiequilts#100141

Hopefully this gives you some inspiration for your quilt. Which by the way, I think is coming along beautifully!!

It is coming along nicely. I know what you mean about cutting into the strata though. It is so beautiful all by itself and then it gets transformed into something even more beautiful after it is cut.

Love the lines and circles, it's so creative, and interesting! Enjoy Ben, they grow so fast, as we all know.

Eighteen of 110?!?! You have your work cut out for you! Well, no, actually YOU have to do the cutting. ;) Have fun, though -- it looks spectacular. And enjoy the grandkids.
