Sunny Days are Coming

I'm not referring to the rain but to the "blues". My depression come in waves without cause. I started this blog just over a year ago to give me something to focus on beside myself and have found my blog friends encouraging and fun. Thanks to my pastor and his timely sermon on Discouragement, I'm ready to focus on the blessings in my life:
* My wonderful husband, who loves me.
* Two sweet grandsons, whom I adore.
* Four successful adult kids, my sons and their wives.
* My sister, my best friend who understands me.
* Funds that allow us to travel.
* My Lord, His Grace and His power to deal with life's ups and downs.
Enough of this self indulgence...time to get on-line and see what you've been up to.

  8. You are just having the down time that comes after a trip. It is hard to swing back into a routine quickly when you have been gone so long. I'm sure you will have renewed energy now that you are ready to see the bright side, and having a wonderful supportive family is really a bonus.

  14. Sorry to hear you've been poorly. I too am a sufferer, so know what it's like. The good thing is that these things are time-limited, and you know you'll be better soon. Just keep positive, and you'll beat it!
